Event Recap: Private Party with Sammy Hagar in Las Vegas, Nevada
“I’m having a VIP private event and the client wants to book a headliner.” - After almost one year of not having live concerts as a result of the global pandemic, this was music to our ears!
As most of you know, there were not a lot of live shows and concerts in 2020. During 2020 the Kerr Entertainment Group team produced virtual concerts for our clients, created over twenty new event entertainment exclusives to prepare for the return of live events and went through a complete re-brand. It was an exciting year for us, but we really missed live concerts.
When our Las Vegas event planner partner called us about this party we quickly got to work. We ran availabilities, talked through the options, and walked them through the offer process when they decided to move forward with Booking Sammy Hagar. What most people don’t realize when it comes to booking a concert or celebrity headliner is that there are a lot of options. What we have learned after 35+ years of producing headline entertainment for private events is that it’s all about the experience, and we pride ourselves on giving our clients the best experience possible.
When we sit down with our clients, we listen. We ask them about the purpose of their event, the venue, the audience, what they want to spend, and more importantly what they want to get out of their event so we can provide the most comprehensive list of entertainment options. That was no different in this case when our client wanted classic rock entertainment options.
Once we were able to negotiate the technical aspects of the contracts for our client, we worked with our Las Vegas event planner partner to advance the day of show details. We oversaw everything from getting contract signatures to being on-site to manage the show. Sammy Hagar was fantastic! His high-energy and charismatic personality really took the event to the next level. Thank you to the fantastic Red Rock Resort & Casino in Las Vegas for helping us make it happen. We cannot say enough wonderful things about their team.
